I go to the Americana Diner at least twice a month.Great food selection and low price. I have never been disappointed.See photo for March 14 lunch visit. Soup, main course and Jell-O. 8.95.

Had the Alpine burger with onion rings. The mushrooms in the burger were right out of a can and pretty nasty. The bathrooms weren't clean and can only imagine the kitchen's upkeep is like. Service is decent and friendly. No complaints on that front.

Attentive service, reasonable prices, and a variety of menu choices. Part of my order was wrong, but the food was still good.

OMG, It’s hard to say something positive! My omelette was over cooked, the potatoes were burned, the toast was hard and cold andthe coffee didn’t change color after 3 creams! I doubt we will return.

The service was prompt and friendly and the breakfast was tasty. The spinach and feta omelet with home fries definitely hit the spot. The Americana is a good place to stop for a quick bite when you're traveling along route 17.

As far as diners go, great setup. Not exactly graduation dinner material but for a quick bite out would highly recommend

This was an excellent breakfast. Our waitress was attentive without being pushy. Our coffee cups never got below half filled. The sausages are crisp and juicy. Eggs were perfectly done! All in all a great meal.If there was one downside it was the restroom. It was in need of a cleaning.

The staff and food was absolutely amazing, the only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars is because it isn’t the cheapest option out there, and the interior design needs some work.

After a long hike this was the perfect place to refuel and relax. Great food, and great service. Highly recommend the Prime Rib. The prices are also super reasonable. 10 stars haha.

I had not eaten here for many years however, the food was excellent. I was with a group of kids as well as adults and we all liked it.Prices were very good compared to the portion size that you got. They give large portions. Nobody walked out hungry.

This place is open 24/7 and the food was delicious! We stopped in Middletown on our way to NYC from Niagara Falls, and this diner was a great place for a late night bite. The broccoli cheddar soup was amazing! Our waitress was very accommodating and kind.

I had breakfast food. The french toast was good. The sausages were good, bacon was hard. The eggs were ok the potatoes were burnt on the bottom. They do have good soup though, i will probably stick to that.

Place is always busy, and the wait staff is always on point. Despite it being busy the wait for service and food isn't long. The food is fresh and delicious. Pictured is the gyro lunch special.

For the price and being a 24hr diner, it was great. Very clean and great staff.

As a quick waypoint off 17 on the way from Upstate NY back to NJ, this diner was the perfect stop. All meals were perfectly prepared and everyone was pleased. Service was excellent, with Angela (our waitress) masterfully caring for 10 people as of it were 2. Looking forward to our next visit and feast.

Great Service as well as great food!

Unfortunately, my first experience wasn't the greatest and gave a horrible first impression. I ordered French Toast and the butter that came on the side had a live bug that was sun bathing and back stroking in it. Right next to us was a family who asked if their meal could be cooked better, not once but twice, to the point that the person making the request decided not to even eat. Both these situations seemed to be met with a very nonchalant attitude with no apologies or care. Once the family left, I seen no staff even put a rag to or clean their table before seating another set of customers.

Good,healthy food and good service.

Nice place to grab a bite in the after hours. Quiet, clean, good food, friendly and fast service. Ample parking, right off the highway.

Typical diner fare. We had the corned beef hash and veggie skillet. Corned beef was from a can and veggie skillet was soggy. Large portions of less than stellar diner food.

Great food and decent prices. Wait was a little long but it was pretty busy. All in all would recommend! Got the onion and avocado burger.

First time eating out since pandemic began (staying "safe at home" since 3/12/20) and was dying to "dine-in" at any local restaurant. Americana Diner is one of my favorites. 5 adults at 6 pm on a Friday. Seated immediately (no waiting). Compliant with CDC guidelines. Great service - waitress (didn't get her name) was cheerful and efficient. Very good food with large portions and variety (2 big guys had perfectly cooked steaks, daughter had fluffy waffles, son had chicken nuggets and fries, and I had seafood paella special and cheesecake). Also, wine and beer. Got an order of fish & chips to take home for tomorrow. Prices very reasonable. Can't wait to go back again. Wonderful diner experience.

A good dinner. Dont order the gyro... its frozen and gross.

The customer service was second to none. But the burgers I ordered to were not great. My well done was pretty much burnt.

Regular diner fare with quick friendly service.

This is my go to diner. The food is always fresh and cooked well. The people there are great and fun to be around.

Food was good up until we realized we were surrounded by bugs. When brought to staff attention they were very uncaring about it. "Yeah we know nothing we can do"

The food is delicious, the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very warm and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Friendly service, employers are super nice and helpful. We ordered eggs and pancakes and the portions were so big you could share, and that was from the kids menu!

First time visiting on Valentine's day.  What a special treat!!!  They offered a pre-fixed menu which was perfect and covered all the bases.  Appetizer, salad, entree (generous portions), dessert, coffee, and chocolate covered strawberries for a bargain price.   This place gives you a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation.  Waitress was very attentive and approached at the right moments always respectful of the celebration happening at our table.  The owner, a joyful fellow, came over and introduced himself asking our opinion on the lighting (to ensure the overall mood).  Embarking on a new career with talented partners and an experienced staff he's doing what he loves most.  All of God's best to this new establishment. We had an excellent time and will most certainly return for more but we won't wait for another holiday to do so.

The food is good. The staff are friendly. They have taken all CDC measures for protecting their customers and themselves during this pandemic. So we therefore feel safe eating here.

Been going here with friends, my wife, for meet ups, etc for at least 7 years. The food is always really good, fried raviolis or a turkey club sandwich are go to's. The fries are usually great, so are the breakfast skillets and the early bird specials are certainly a good deal for the price, not to sound a hundred. I've gone literally at all hours of the day and night, service can vary. But the important thing is that the food is classic diner fare and definitely on the better side both portion and quality wise!

Today we celebrated our sons' Graduation from Middletown High School ! With all the craziness going on in the world a ray of sunshine from a total stranger. Our waitress bought my son Christian a celebratory cheesecake slice. Thank you for showing kindness to a stranger, my son.Thank you The Rivera Family
